Freshwater Aquarium Fish
Malawian Cichlids - These fish are some of the most colorful freshwater fish, rivaling that of some saltwater fish. These fish can be housed with saltwater like decorations to blend the two together. These are highly aggressive fish that should only be done with their kind.
Veil Angels - These are some of the most dramatic looking freshwater fish. They come in a wide variety of color patterns. Grow up to 6". Moderate care. Moderately aggressive.
Penguin Tetra - Marked by a Gold, Pale and White coloring, this fish is an excellent community fish. Does well in schools. Grows up to 3". Easy to do. Non-aggressive.
Rummynose Tetra - This fish gets its name from the unique red-flushed face. Does well in schools. Grows up to 2". Easy to do. Non-aggressive.
Clown Loach - This fish acts according to its name. It likes to swim about on the bottom of the aquarium, in caves, holes and other unique hiding places. It likes to school with its own type. Growing to 1'. Moderate care. Non-aggressive.
Harlequin Rasbora - This fish has a unique black triangle shaped body pattern. They need to be done in schools of six or more. Grows to 2". Non-aggressive.
Neon Blue Dwarf Gourami - Striking iridescent blue, with orange-red strips. Can be done in pairs. Peaceful to shy in behavior. Moderate care. Grows up to 2".
Gold Banded Pleco - Flashy gold color stripes gives this fish a unique look. It scavenges off of the bottom, eating left over food and algae. Grows to 4". Easy to do. Non-aggressive.
Congo Tetra - Known for their flowing fins and glistening body color. They prefer to be in groups or schools. Grows up to 3". Easy to do. Non-aggressive.
